Restless Development Uganda (Photo)

I spent 4 months with Restless Development Uganda in 2015 documenting their amazing work as well as managing a team of national and international volunteers. Restless Development empowers young people to be at the forefront of development globally. Young people make up a huge proportion of the world’s population so when young people get together to make a positive difference – that’s a whole lot of positive energy. My teams were working in the eastern district of Iganga which is a short distance from Lake Victoria and about 2-3 hours from Kampala (depending on how fast the overpacked taxi drives!). The teams were carrying out workshops in schools and to youth groups focussing on sexual reproductive health as well as general health and livelihood information.
