Janga Bus

If you are deaf in The Gambia life can be tough. You are often excluded from society and it’s usually impossible to join the regular rural schools due to lack of specialist teachers and facilities. This is where the charity KADECT came in to provide specialist deaf schools for deaf Gambian children. However accessing the school was proving to be a hard task for many children, it was unsafe and infeasible to get alternative transport. This is where the Janga Bus came in. This film is about that journey.
